Amstel and Muziektheater

The Muziektheater was built beside the River Amstel in Amsterdam in 1986. It has one of the biggest concert podiums in Europe and is the home of the Netherlands Opera, the National Ballet and the Dutch Ballet Orchestra. The Muziektheater is part of a complex that also houses Amsterdam’s city hall.

The Magere Brug is a famous drawbridge over the River Amstel.
